Body Mapping for Flutists: Balance and Hands

In this Body Mapping class for flutists, we will explore how balance and hand use directly influence comfort, efficiency, and artistry in flute playing. Through guided movement activities and practical application to the instrument, participants will develop a clearer understanding of how the body is designed to support balanced posture and coordinated movement. Special attention will be given to the role of the hands, arms, and overall body balance in reducing unnecessary tension, improving technique, and creating greater freedom of expression. Whether you are looking to prevent discomfort, increase technical ease, or enhance your performance, this class will provide valuable tools for healthier and more effective flute playing.
